Policy Implementation Officer Sustainability and Energy
A government organization in Salland is looking for a policy implementation officer for sustainability and energy. You will contribute to the implementation of sustainability and energy objectives and work closely with colleagues, residents, social organizations, and regional partners. This involves replacing a permanent employee, meaning it is an embedded function with leadership and supervision, continuous core activities, and working side-by-side.
What you will do.
- Support the implementation of projects and programs in the field of sustainability, energy saving, and the energy transition.
- Contribute to the implementation of the National Insulation Program and other sustainability projects.
- Organize and guide resident meetings, information evenings, neighborhood actions, and participation processes related to energy and sustainability issues.
- Maintain contacts with residents, energy cooperatives, housing corporations, businesses, and social organizations.
- Answer questions from residents and organizations about sustainability, energy, and subsidies for insulation options.
- Support the preparation of college and council proposals, administrative memos, and other decision-making documents.
- Collect and process data for reports and monitoring of sustainability goals.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in implementation and discuss these with colleagues and project leaders.
- Represent the organization in local and regional working groups and consultations, as appropriate to the function.
- Support colleagues with communication about sustainability projects and subsidy schemes.

What they ask
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in an executive function at a government institution.
- Demonstrable work experience with sustainability, energy transition, and/or climate issues.
Wishes.
- Demonstrable work experience with the implementation of sustainability, energy-saving, or energy transition projects within a public organization (more than 3 years = 30 points, between 2 and 3 years = 20 points, between 1 and 2 years = 10 points, less than 1 year = 0 points).
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in the direction of sustainability, environment, public administration, or spatial planning.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience with resident participation and stakeholder management within sustainability or energy issues.
- Demonstrable work experience with administrative support and monitoring of policy implementation at a government organization.
- Demonstrable work experience with the National Insulation Program (NIP), local insulation approaches, and/or projects focused on energy poverty.
