A government organization is looking for a financial auditor for EU funds. You will contribute to an effective European Union and the development of the country and Europe. The role is versatile, challenging, and educational, involving various projects, activities, and organizations to investigate.
What you will do.
- You will perform a mix of audit activities such as financial audits, compliance audits, system audits, and performance audits.
- You will conduct controls and have an advisory role, focusing on improvements to systems and internal control processes.
- Current important topics, such as sustainability, will increasingly be integrated into your audit approach.
- You will audit projects at various entities, including companies, organizations in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, the government, and institutions performing government tasks.
- You will advise grant providers on various aspects of management and control systems, such as fraud prevention, IT environment improvement, and the effectiveness and efficiency of grant processes.
- You will audit various EU subsidy projects and receive further training in specialized subjects such as European public procurement, state aid, and the use and assessment of financial instruments.
What they ask
- You hold a university degree in accountancy.
- You have at least two years of demonstrable and current experience in financial control.
- You have demonstrable knowledge and skills in accounting and other ERP systems.
