An experienced EPLAN Engineer / Electrical Designer is sought for an industrial production environment. You will be responsible for the electrical design of new installations and technical adjustments to existing production and process installations. The role combines strong EPLAN knowledge with experience in electrical components, machine controls, control cabinets, low-voltage distribution, and industrial safety.
What you do
- Develop electrical designs and diagrams in EPLAN
- Design machine controls and control cabinets
- Translate P&IDs, instrumentation lists, and technical input into electrical diagrams
- Select and technically specify electrical components
- Design and adapt low-voltage distributions
- Prepare and manage:
- Cable lists
- Terminal lists
- Technical files
- Perform and check cable calculations
- Standardize and improve EPLAN macros, templates
- Check existing installations for electrical conformity
- Develop and follow up on technical adjustments
- Guide electrical inspections and handovers
- Independently manage engineering projects within agreed deadlines
- Coordinate with project engineering, automation, maintenance, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, energy technology, or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an EPLAN Engineer, Electrical Designer, or Electrical Engineer
- Strong practical knowledge of EPLAN
- Experience with machine controls, control cabinets, and low-voltage installations
- Knowledge of AREI and industrial electrical safety regulations
- Knowledge of cable calculations and ATEX is a plus
- Experience within an industrial production or process environment
- Very good knowledge of Dutch
