You will be working with the Access Participation and Social Affairs Team, part of the Participation department, within a municipal organization. In this central coordination point, supply and demand meet in the field of work and participation. The organization strives for every resident to be able to participate. Based on professional knowledge, a suitable guidance program is offered for the resident's participation needs.
What you will do.
- As a Youth Client Manager, you guide and coach young people towards a suitable workplace or return to school.
- You monitor progress in various domains and maintain control, collaborating with internal and external parties, making cooperation agreements, and organizing work processes.
- You work closely with the transition coordinator (RBL) to support young people who leave school prematurely towards the labor market.
- Young people under 23 are supported in returning to education by the transition coordinator, while you help young people aged 23 and over find work and/or return to education.
- You guide young people in their job search and help them with applications: drafting a CV, writing cover letters, preparing for interviews.
- You collaborate with account managers to mediate young people into sustainable employment and provide aftercare, deploying a job coach if necessary for sustainable placement.
- You monitor progress during paid work and guide young people in case of stagnation.
- If returning to school/work is not (temporarily) possible, you investigate with the young person what form of participation is appropriate.
- In case of (impending) debts, you initiate debt assistance, in collaboration with debt counseling professionals.
- You provide support with assistance or housing problems and refer to the appropriate disciplines.
- You collaborate with various disciplines such as youth work, Transition Point, WMO, schools, and chain partners.
