A government organization is looking for an Income Consultant for the target group of status holders (recognized refugees). You will work with colleagues and external parties, such as Vluchtelingenwerk, to increase the self-reliance of residents. The position is varied and challenging, offering a lot of freedom. You will be part of the Income & Participation Team, which consists of over 35 colleagues divided into four clusters: Income, Participation, Integration, and Debt Assistance.

What you will do.
- Handle and assess applications for subsistence in the context of the Participation Act (Participatiewet) and IOAW.
- Assess applications for special assistance and minimum income policy.
- Maintain good contact with status holders in your caseload and conduct interviews for applications and reassessments.
- Conduct (re)investigations into the right to assistance.
- Responsible for termination investigations, recovery decisions, imposing measures, and advising on fines.
- Be fraud-alert.
- Provide tailor-made solutions within the framework of the Participation Act.
- Actively seek collaboration with colleagues from the team, often integration consultants.
- Signal and refer care questions, with knowledge of the social map.
