Support for the Environmental Management Unit at a regional environmental service.
- The environmental service assists authorities in protecting the living environment and brings together environmental, technical, and legal expertise.
- Legal frameworks are translated into permits, controls, advice, and practical agreements with companies and initiators.
- The expertise covers various environmental themes, where monitoring data, regulations, and substantive analyses converge.
- Sustainability and new environmental regulations create new advisory and implementation tasks.
- Intensive collaboration with commissioning authorities and other supervisory or executive organizations.
What you do
- Process (complex) environmental permit applications, environmental component.
What they ask
- HBO-level diploma (higher professional education).
- Compliant with WTTA regulations (Wet Toelating Terbeschikkingstelling van Arbeidskrachten) as of July 1, 2027.
- Compliant with the latest VTH-A quality criteria.
- Agreement to provide a valid VOG (certificate of conduct) after award.
- Agreement with the stated secondment conditions.
Preferences.
- Able to work accurately, independently, and diligently.
- Proactive.
- Willing to learn and quickly absorb knowledge.
- Relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of OpenWave and Djuma.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with data processing.
- Demonstrable knowledge and extensive experience with the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet), the Activities Decree (Activiteitenbesluit), and related regulations.
- Knowledge of the Environmental Act and its associated instruments.
- Extensive knowledge and affinity with the process industry, high-risk companies, construction & fire safety.
- Experience with politically sensitive files.
