UI UX Designer
Within a technology company, there is continuous research into how technology can help teams respond to changing needs. For a new innovation trajectory, a UI/UX Designer is sought to discover what is important to users and translate these insights into clear concepts and experiences. This is not a delivery role within an existing product with a fixed roadmap. You will work in an early phase, where the problem area and possible solutions are still being explored.
You will lead the discovery, make ideas tangible, and help the team determine which opportunities are relevant, understandable, and worth developing further. You will ensure that product decisions stem from customer and user insights rather than internal assumptions. By combining research, design, and validation, you will help the team find a direction that solves a recognizable problem.
What you will do.
- You will plan and conduct interviews, workshops, and contextual research with customers and professional users.
- You will translate needs, workflows, challenges, and business considerations into clear opportunity areas and design questions.
- You will develop user flows, concepts, and interactive prototypes to which the team and customers can concretely react.
- You will design and guide experiments, gather feedback, and refine ideas, adjust them, or stop them when evidence requires it.
- You will work with data, software development, and product management to connect user value, feasibility, and product direction.
Profile
- You have several years of hands-on experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar, with a strong focus on discovery and prototyping.
- You will confidently lead interviews, workshops, usability research, and contextual research with professional users.
- You will translate customer problems and business needs into clear hypotheses, user flows, journeys, and testable concepts.
- You will drive work forward in a small team with broad responsibilities and a direction that develops gradually.
- You will communicate clearly, respectfully challenge assumptions, and collaborate effectively with colleagues from product, data, and software development.
