Quartermaster Social Domain Reform
A government organization is working on a future-proof social domain, focusing on prevention, well-being, and the strength of the community. The focus is on the self-reliance of residents and the role of their own network, with specialized care only being deployed when truly necessary. The goal is a shift from care to well-being, in collaboration with residents, organizations, and businesses, to achieve a self-reliant and inclusive policy. To shape this movement, a quartermaster is sought.
What you do
As a quartermaster, you will be tasked with connecting, accelerating, and securing the various developments within the social domain.
- Translate the existing program plan into a concrete implementation program with planning, result agreements, and financial steering.
- Take the lead in ensuring coherence between the various projects within the program.
- Monitor the progress, coherence, and results of the program and propose adjustments where necessary.
- Organize collaboration within the program team and make agreements with project leaders on results, progress, and coherence.
- Create support among the college, municipal council, social partners, and residents, taking into account different interests and political-administrative sensitivities.
- Build and maintain a network of parties contributing to the program's goals, ensuring residents play an appropriate role.
- Monitor the financial progress of the program and report on it.
- Ensure knowledge transfer to colleagues and proper embedding of the new working method, including concrete advice on this.
- Investigate how team development and programmatic and/or task-oriented work can reinforce each other within the Policy & Management team, and provide concrete advice on this.
Profile
You will work together with colleagues, social partners, and residents.
- Experienced quartermaster capable of independently executing complex change assignments.
- Good insight into a political-administrative environment and able to deal with various interests.
- Able to connect people and organizations and create support for changes.
- Capable of working both strategically and practically.
- Maintain an overview, see the coherence between different developments, and steer towards concrete results.
- Communicate clearly and effectively analyze complex issues.
- Independently take responsibility for the execution of the assignment based on your knowledge and experience.
- Advise the client on the approach, progress, and any adjustments.
What they ask
- Meets the educational requirements stated in the job description.
- Experience with programmatic and/or task-oriented work and with complex change assignments (preferably within the social domain).
- Possesses a laptop with a Thunderbolt connection.
- Possesses a VOG (screened on 11, 12, and 13) no older than 3 months.
Preferences.
- Experience with translating program plans into concrete implementation programs.
- Experience with leading the coherence between different projects.
- Recent work experience in a similar position.
- Fits within the team (will be assessed in a personal interview).
