The activities will be carried out within a new data quality office. This office is part of a section falling under the Systems & Analysis Department of a logistics command of a land forces organization. The department's goal is to contribute to optimizing maintenance and achieving the required material availability of ground-based systems throughout their entire lifecycle. Within the office, active work is done on the interaction between data unlocking, analysis, and innovation.
The office specifically focuses on structurally improving and safeguarding data quality within the material logistics and financial domain of the land forces organization, with a primary focus on SAP data.
What you will do. In this challenging role, you will directly apply theory to practice. Your task package is hands-on and requires a creative approach:
- You will apply various information products and perform data quality analyses as an Information Analyst. You will objectively test and assess data quality to identify deviations.
- You will develop dashboards and information products for monitoring and reporting in Power BI. In doing so, you will translate raw data into usable insights and management information via Business Intelligence (BI).
- You will contribute to thinking about and working on innovative techniques to test and analyze data quality better and faster.
- You will accurately coordinate the results of your quality analyses with the involved stakeholders.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, demonstrated by a completed relevant HBO degree.
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrable experience with applying and developing information products, performing analyses, and stakeholder alignment.
- Current knowledge of and demonstrable experience with Power BI, SQL, and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Knowledge of Data Science, particularly for pattern recognition, is a plus.
- Knowledge of the systems within material logistics and finance (SLOG/KLOG) is a plus.
- You possess the following competencies: Analyzing, Communicating, Customer-oriented, Accurate, Results-oriented, Collaborating, and Creative.
Practical
- A security screening (VGB) is part of the application process.
- It is necessary that you, as a civilian applicant, have Dutch nationality.
