For an international production company, we are looking for an experienced SHEQ Coordinator. You will contribute to developing and monitoring the safety, quality, and environmental policy within a production environment. The assignment combines operational involvement with strategic SHEQ responsibilities. You are an important link within the operational organization, working closely with various departments and external stakeholders.
What you do
- Conduct safety rounds and follow up on safety observations
- Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks
- Organize medical examinations and manage PPE
- Prepare, guide, and follow up on internal and external audits
- Draft and update risk analyses and safety documentation
- Follow up on KPIs and safety action plans
- Support improvement projects related to 5S, LOTO, chemical risks, and new installations
- Follow up on legal obligations and changes in regulations
- Monitor quality indicators and quality processes
- Support ISO 9001-related activities
- Handle deviations, complaints, and corrective actions
- Actively participate in improvement projects and implementation trajectories
- Follow up on regulations regarding REACH, CLP
- Manage compliance-related documentation
- Support audits by government agencies
- Collaborate on implementation projects related to safety and product documentation
- Draft and submit mandatory environmental and emission reports
- Follow up on waste streams and environmental projects
- Manage and update environmental documentation
- Support sustainability and improvement initiatives
What they ask
- Proven experience in SHEQ, HSE, Prevention, or a similar role
- Familiar with production or industrial environments
- Knowledge of ISO systems, risk analyses, and safety legislation is a strong asset
- Experience with REACH, CLP, ADR, or product compliance is a plus
- Hands-on and independent
- Able to engage people in a safety and quality culture
- Fluent communication in Dutch and English
- Willing to travel sporadically
