Debt Services Consultant

The Income Support department works on the development and financial support for target groups under relevant legislation. The goal is to increase the financial security of residents in vulnerable positions, based on a human-centered approach and trust. Integrated service delivery is the answer to multiple questions and complex situations, by building strong networks with partners in the social domain.

You will be part of a passionate team that supports residents of a municipality and regional municipalities in resolving or managing their debts. As consultants, you are jointly responsible for the various trajectories offered and manage the entire process, including aftercare.

What you will do.

• Responsible for intake and an integrated action plan aimed at effective debt services.
• Conduct accessible registration interviews and provide comprehensive intake.
• Develop the action plan and manage the process up to and including transfer.
• Work closely with other disciplines in the team, neighborhood teams, and relevant partners.
• Responsible for crisis intervention and maintaining contacts with ancillary support services.
• Driver of the early warning approach, ensuring residents with payment arrears receive appropriate help in a timely manner.
• Maintain collaboration with fixed-cost partners and be one of the key users of the digital early warning system.
