What you will do. You will participate in daily care, but your added value extends beyond as a coach, connector, and sparring partner. You will look at working methods with a fresh perspective and initiate improvements. The focus will be on:
- Coaching and guiding care colleagues, so they can perform their work with confidence and ownership.
- Strengthening clinical reasoning, methodical work, and nursing expertise.
- Stimulating a professional feedback culture where colleagues support each other, provide feedback, and take responsibility.
- Connecting care and well-being, so that both disciplines reinforce each other and residents benefit.
- Creating more structure, clarity, and coherence in daily care provision.
- Identifying, realizing, and helping to secure quality improvements.
- Collaborating with nurses and acting as a sparring partner for the manager on nursing, organizational, and quality-oriented issues.
Profile
- Nursing diploma at mbo or hbo level and BIG-registered.
- Experience in coaching colleagues, strengthening teams, or guiding changes.
- Being resilient, maintaining an overview, and providing positive direction.
- Ability to connect people, but also to be clear when the situation demands it.
- Being energized by an environment where development and improvement are central.
- Experience in elderly care or psychogeriatrics is a valuable asset.
Practical
The residential care center houses 27 elderly people with psychogeriatric care needs, divided into four small-scale living units. Thanks to living circles, residents can move freely, and the feeling of home is central. Good care is about self-direction, personal attention, and moments that make residents' lives happy.
