Paramedical Advisor

Within the Medical Department of a healthcare organization, where medical-social expertise is the norm, you are responsible for empathetic and tailored service to each member. Together with colleagues within your multidisciplinary team, you contribute to a sustainable and high-quality healthcare system accessible to everyone.

What you will do.

• You will work closely with advising physicians and evaluate the state of work incapacity of members.
• You will receive members for consultation in the organization's offices.
• You will accurately evaluate the context of work incapacity (physical, psychological, social, functional) and assess the residual capacities and limitations of the person.
• You will inform and guide members with work incapacity about their rights and obligations and support them in their reintegration process.
• You will discuss possible work resumption with the member, outline reintegration possibilities into the labor market, and, if necessary, refer them to a return-to-work coordinator or an external service.
• You will contribute your expertise to the discussion of specific cases within the interdisciplinary team.
• You will ensure smooth and qualitative administrative follow-up of your files.
• Occasionally, you will represent the organization during professional contacts, both with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., the RIZIV/INAMI).
• You will perform controls via home visits (e.g., KATZ controls).
