What you will do.
- Make an important contribution to stopping domestic violence by increasing the safety, resilience, and self-reliance of clients
- Have various consultation moments and appointments with clients, colleagues, and chain partners
- Focus on safety is paramount, and you always work system-oriented
- Be coaching and also support clients with practical matters
- Manage a varying caseload, from acute shelter to long-term support
- Discuss various cases with your team, the behavioral expert, and process supervisor
- Make key decisions together
- Empower clients and help them regain control over their lives through conversations
Profile
- Be a real go-getter, able to organize and plan your work well
- Be flexible if something urgent comes up that takes precedence
- Easily set priorities and ask others for help if something doesn't work out
- Be able to work independently but also enjoy sparring with colleagues and giving them advice
- Be positively critical of yourself and others, and find it important to keep improving and learning
- Be curious and stay informed about developments in the field of domestic violence
- Put your clients at ease with your open personality
- Be able to motivate, stimulate, and instruct clients to increase their self-reliance
- Clearly set your boundaries, firm where necessary but gentle when possible
- Be creative and always look for possibilities to activate a client
- Work trauma-sensitive but also dare to ask critical questions about various topics to give them insight into their own behavior
- Possess excellent oral skills and be able to draw up concise plans
What they ask
- A relevant HBO degree, for example Social Work, SPH, MWD, or Applied Psychology
- If you are an HBO Nurse with experience in the safety domain, you are also welcome to apply
- SKJ registered or willing to obtain this
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the safety domain
- Available on Fridays
Preferences.
- Knowledge of the social map in the region
- Knowledge of one or more foreign languages
