As an Employment Advisor at a specialized organization, you support people with visual impairments to stay at work, return to work, or discover new opportunities. Your advice, guidance, and expertise create perspective for both employees and employers. No two trajectories are the same, making this a challenging and varied role.
What you will do.
- Guide and coordinate trajectories in the field of employment and participation for people with visual impairments.
- Conduct intake and advisory interviews with clients and employers.
- Investigate possibilities for sustainable employability.
- Advise employers, employees, and referrers.
- Coordinate research and guidance trajectories.
- Prepare quotations and reports.
- Translate research findings into practical and feasible solutions.
- Collaborate with company doctors, occupational health services, a government agency, and other involved professionals.
- Actively contribute to the development of our services.
Profile
- Curious, analytical, and genuinely interested in people.
- Good listening skills and ability to distinguish between main and secondary issues.
- Translate complex situations into concrete advice.
- Relevant higher professional education (HBO) degree.
- Preferably experience with reintegration, labor mobility, career guidance, or sustainable employability.
- Knowledge of labor market issues and relevant laws and regulations.
- Easily communicate with various stakeholders.
- Work independently and take responsibility.
- See opportunities and think in solutions.
