Service Technician
As a Service Technician, you are responsible for maintaining, checking, and improving automated logistics systems. You trace malfunctions, perform repairs, and actively contribute to ways to further increase the reliability of the installations. Your technical knowledge has a direct impact: by quickly resolving malfunctions and optimally maintaining installations, you ensure that the automated logistics processes of a leading technology company continue to run smoothly.
What you will do.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on automated warehouse and intralogistics systems
- Locate, analyze, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic malfunctions
- Investigate recurring technical problems and analyze available system and fault data
- Perform inspections, measurements, and functional tests to ensure the safety and performance of installations
- Respond quickly to fault reports and perform repairs according to established procedures
- Accurately register maintenance work and technical findings
- Coordinate activities with suppliers, colleagues, and other internal departments
- Contribute to improvements that increase the availability, reliability, and efficiency of installations
- Work according to strict safety and quality guidelines, partly in a cleanroom environment
Profile
You are an independent and solution-oriented technician who does not give up easily when an installation malfunctions. You find it interesting to investigate the origin of a problem and derive satisfaction from a properly functioning installation.
What they ask
- An mbo+ diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field
- Experience with technical maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
- Experience with fault analysis and preventive maintenance
- A strong safety and quality awareness
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
- A proactive attitude and the drive to continuously improve processes and installations
Practical
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- Willingness to participate in an on-call or breakdown service
- Flexibility to deal with future changes within the operation
