The employee will join a specialized team within an environmental quality unit. In case of high workload, particularly within another team, the advisors of this team also perform tasks for that other team. The team consists of advisors in the field of industrial noise and traffic noise. Additionally, they carry out tasks related to the remediation of homes due to traffic noise. The unit consists of this team and various other teams.
An environmental service supports governments in protecting the living environment and brings together environmental, technical, and legal expertise for this purpose. Legal frameworks are translated into permits, controls, advice, and practical agreements with companies and initiators within the organization. The expertise covers various environmental themes, where monitoring data, regulations, and substantive analyses converge in one dossier.
Sustainability and the consequences of new environmental regulations also lead to new advisory and implementation tasks. Employees must constantly switch between substantive quality, practical implementation, and collaboration with the environment.
What you do
- Advise on industrial noise and traffic noise
- Perform work for the remediation of homes due to traffic noise
- Advise on air quality issues, particularly nitrogen, during periods of high workload
What they ask
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) level education
- A (further) education in acoustics or noise control, for example, the Higher Acoustics Course or the post-HBO Environmental and Noise program
- Knowledge of and experience with noise regulations in the environmental plan
- Knowledge of and experience with zone management for zoned industrial areas
- Meets the currently applicable VTH 3.0 criteria
Desired.
- Experience with noise production ceilings in zoned industrial areas
- Experience with spatial planning (RO) procedures and strategic advice to competent authorities
- Experience in deepening and robustly translating instruction rules from the Environmental Quality Decree into rules in the environmental plan
- Experience with Project Management
- Experience with Geomilieu zone management module and the Environmental Act
