The mission takes place within a network team responsible for the setup, security, and operations of the network used for a wide range of services in industrial and office environments.
- The team works across several European locations and is involved in multiple projects, including setting up connectivity in new data centers, securing and connecting to the cloud, modernizing the WAN network, and supporting functional evolutions.
What you do
- Operate within a team supporting company activities running 24/7.
- Work in both IT and OT environments with strong diligence in preparing and executing changes.
- Participate in the deployment and maintenance of IT systems.
- Support colleagues.
- Contribute across different networking domains, including routing, switching, and software-related topics.
Profile
- Must master Dutch or French and be fluent in English.
- Ability to work closely with other ICT teams.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Readiness to support teammates.
- Own car required.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Background in computer science.
- Openness to taking part in a standby role (maximum 1 week in 4).
What they ask
- Understanding of firewall technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, ISIS, MP-BGP, and MST.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless.
- Experience with Python and/or Ansible for automation.
- Knowledge of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, and central syslog.
- Familiarity with TACACS and RADIUS servers.
Preferences.
- Knowledge of ACI or Cisco SDWAN is a plus.
Technical environment.
- The environment covers the full network stack from LAN to WAN and from the data center to the cloud, across both IT and OT contexts, in a mostly Cisco-based environment.
- Technologies mentioned include: Cisco ACI, Microsoft Azure, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ASR, ISR, Catalyst and Nexus devices, Cisco Wireless, Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls, Zabbix, Elastic, ISE.
