What you do
- Full ownership of industrial projects from concept and feasibility phase to commissioning and handover.
- Define and manage project scope and project deliverables.
- Define and manage budget, including business case and investment approval.
- Integral project planning, including creation and management in MS Project.
- Lead and coordinate all project phases from pre-study and concept selection.
- Lead and coordinate basic and detailed engineering.
- Procurement and selection of contractors.
- Construction and execution on site.
- Commissioning and handover to operations.
- Act as a single point of accountability for internal stakeholders and management.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external.
- Manage scope changes, risks, claims, and deviations from budget and planning.
- Report to steering committees, management, and senior stakeholders.
- Monitor quality, safety, timing, budget, and scope throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrable A to Z responsibility for industrial CAPEX projects.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer, for example within mechanical, electrical, piping, or civil engineering.
- Experience with pre-feasibility studies and concept studies.
- Experience with CAPEX budgeting and investment approvals.
- Experience with commissioning of industrial installations.
- Experience within the process industry is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with MS Project, where you are responsible for setting up and managing the planning yourself.
- Academic working and thinking level.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to oversee the entire project from a helicopter perspective.
- Knowledge of Project Engineering (mechanical, electrical, piping, civil...).
- Experience with Project Management of industrial CAPEX projects from A to Z.
