What you will do.
- As a therapist within our multidisciplinary team, you will work with a unique and highly complex target group.
- You will treat clients with persistent and chronic complaints, where psychiatric and somatic problems converge — often after previous treatment in primary and secondary care.
- You will conduct both individual and group treatments, draw up treatment plans, perform intakes, and actively contribute to care-related developments.
- With a broad clinical perspective, creativity, and a systemic approach, you will investigate the interaction between body, psyche, and environment.
- You will involve the client's network and work closely with colleagues from other departments and with external partners such as general practitioners, medical specialists, and referrers.
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of treatment policy, the optimization of existing care pathways, and the design of innovative treatment methods.
- You will work at the intersection of somatics and psyche, within a specialized tertiary center for psychosomatics.
Profile
- Completed training as a clinical psychologist and/or psychotherapist, with corresponding BIG registration.
- Affinity for people with psychosomatic complaints and complex comorbidity.
- Systemic, person-centered approach to care.
- Knowledge of or experience with ACT, L-MBT, trauma treatment, and personality disorders is a plus.
- Curious and eager to learn attitude: you enjoy contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation.

About the organization.
- You will work in an organization full of possibilities, with various (TopGGz) specialisms and multiple work locations.
- The center is a highly specialized TOPGGz center for (young) adults (18+) with complex, persistent physical complaints (ALK), somatic symptom disorders, and functional neurological disorders (conversion).
- Patients have often been on a long journey in mental health care, rehabilitation, or somatics – and come to us when previous treatments have not sufficiently helped.
- We offer recovery-oriented, integrated care in which psychological, physical, and social factors are inextricably linked.
- With innovative treatment methods such as Body-oriented Mentalization Based Therapy (L-MBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and e-health, we support patients in regaining control over their lives.
- You will work in a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and researchers.
- The center proudly holds the TOPGGz quality mark and actively contributes to scientific research, knowledge development, and training.
