Clinical Psychologist SP Psychogeriatrics Huntington

You will contribute to a specialized care offering for people with Huntington's disease and their network. At the same time, you will apply your expertise within a psychogeriatric operation, where person-centered and recovery-oriented care are central. You will work at the intersection of specialized care, network operations, and expertise development.

What you will do.

  • Guide clients and their relatives in their home environment
  • Support families during different phases of the disease process
  • Coordinate collaboration between various partners within a specialized convention
  • Coach reference persons, both internally and in involved residential care centers
  • Apply psychological expertise within the psychogeriatric operations of a psychiatric center
  • Perform psychodiagnostics and psychological counseling within the psychogeriatric operations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary consultations and contribute to treatment plans
  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and expertise development regarding Huntington's disease

Profile

  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, including recognition and visa
  • Affinity with neuropsychology, cognitive disorders, and psychogeriatric care
  • Experience with psychodiagnostics is a plus
  • Experience with Huntington's disease is not required; recent graduates are also welcome and will receive a thorough training program
  • Attention to the living world of clients and their relatives and actively involve them in the care process
  • Work from a recovery-oriented and person-centered vision
  • Able to co-develop a substantive vision and support colleagues in this
  • Monitor professional boundaries and be open to intervision, supervision, and further training
  • Combine authenticity with professionalism and critically reflect on one's own actions
  • Socially skilled, stress-resistant, and strong communicator

Practical aspects.

  • Part-time contract (80%) for replacement
