What you do
As a flexible pool support worker, you can work with various target groups. All clients are visually impaired or blind and have a severe intellectual disability. There are residential groups for the elderly, intensive care, or those focused on challenging behavior. There are morning, day, late, weekend, and night shifts. The variety in target groups offers diverse and challenging work.
The advantage of flexible work is that you (together with the planning office) determine which shifts you work and how many hours you want to work. Affinity with clients with severe multiple disabilities and associated behavioral problems is necessary.
- Work with a unique target group: blind and visually impaired clients with additional physical, psychological, or auditory disabilities
- Ensure a pleasant living atmosphere
- Provide daily care, support/take over ADL (Activities of Daily Living), such as helping with washing, dressing
- Depending on the residential group, perform nursing tasks such as tube feeding, medication administration, wound care, or bowel irrigation
- Observe clients, identify issues, and report on them
- Work in different residential groups with various clients and target groups

- Possess a care or pedagogical related diploma at level 3 or 4
- You are flexibly deployable, independent
- You enjoy working in different teams and are not afraid to step into an unfamiliar or new environment
- You have a good sense of the atmosphere the group needs
- You can empathize with different developmental levels and have an affinity for clients with severe multiple disabilities and challenging behavior
- A car and driving license are a must because you work at different locations
Practical
- A contract for 1 year with the prospect of a permanent employment
- Travel allowance, irregular shift allowances, 8% holiday pay, and an 8.33% year-end bonus
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required
