As a project manager within an event organization, you are responsible for the direction and coherence of projects. You guide the development and execution of projects, events, and online platforms, specifically within the manufacturing and logistics industry. This includes leading trade fairs and events.
What you will do.
- Manage projects, events, and titles from concept to evaluation
- Bring together different disciplines and stakeholders for clear planning and monitoring of progress, coherence
- Maintain an overview, concretize agreements, and intervene in a timely manner when necessary
- Translate concepts and plans into a strong event, a good customer experience, and successful execution
- Play an important role in the strategic development of titles
- Follow market developments, introduce ideas and opportunities, and translate these into improvements and new initiatives
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and event managers, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the cluster's direction and results as a member of the management team
- Monitor customer satisfaction, budgets, and forecasts, and use evaluations to further improve projects
- Ensure a distinctive visitor and exhibitor experience
Profile
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project, sales, marketing, or event management
- Strong in stakeholder management, planning
- Sharp financial insight
- Experience with P&L responsibility, contract, and benefit management
- Decisive, even under pressure
- Customer-oriented and strong communicator (in both Dutch and English)
- Data-driven: capable of understanding data, making decisions based on insights, and engaging and convincing others
