The location consists of two houses in a pleasant residential area, with private studios, a shared kitchen, and a beautiful inner garden. At a care organization, we believe in a normal life, a life of one's own for everyone. As a caregiver, you support residents where necessary, but above all, you stimulate their independence. You work together with committed colleagues who are available day and night for the residents and for each other.
What you do
As a caregiver for people with disabilities, you offer intensive care and guidance to our residents. You support daily care, stimulate independence, and ensure a safe, homely atmosphere where activating activities are offered daily. Together with your team, family, and other healthcare professionals, you get the best out of every day.
- Provide personal care, nursing, and guidance to residents with diverse care needs
- Stimulate independence and self-direction, in line with the motto of the location
- Signal changes in health or well-being and respond to them
- Collaborate with colleagues, family, and external care providers
- Contribute to a pleasant, safe, and homely atmosphere and the daily varied activity program
- Think along about improvements in care, activities, and daily life
- Actively participate in team meetings, training

- A completed care education at MBO level 3 (e.g., Verzorgende IG, MMZ, or similar)
- Experience or affinity with aging clients with an intellectual disability and/or psychological problems
- A warm heart, an open mind, and the ability to truly see the residents
- Flexibility and the ability to switch between different care needs
- Team spirit and the willingness to collaborate and learn
