Technical Controller
The activities are carried out within the Advice & Quality section of a Systems & Analysis department of a logistics command, belonging to a land forces command. This command aims to deliver modern, robust, safe, and high-quality equipment to all operational users of the armed forces. It is responsible for the equipment throughout its entire lifecycle, from acquisition, through maintenance, to disposal.
The Systems & Analysis department contributes to optimizing maintenance and achieving the required material availability of ground-based systems throughout their lifecycle. The Advice & Quality section guides users, advises commanders, and proposes improvements in the field of maintenance.
What you will do. The technical controllers verify that outsourced equipment maintenance is carried out as agreed, for preventive, corrective, and damage cases. You play an essential role in the outsourcing payroll processing. The activities consist of 50% administrative work preparation and 50% technical control.
- Independently inventorying the workload
- Inspecting outsourced services (on assignment or by sampling) and adjusting them
- Reporting changes in service delivery to the system owner
- Weighing the results of the inspected service against the stipulated contract conditions
- Recording the results of the technical control
- Providing technical approval for outsourced services
In addition, you will inspect, report, and advise on damage to ground-based equipment:
- Making appointments with all involved parties
- Requesting all relevant data
- Inspecting the damage to the product
- Collecting the results of the inspection
- Having the damage assessment report drawn up and evaluating it for repair
- Providing technical approval for the repair
- Advising on the damage process
You will also advise on the use and condition of the equipment:
- Collecting and interpreting relevant information
- Identifying trends and formulating various proposals for technical improvements
- Presenting these proposals
- Contributing to the annual reporting
