An HR specialist for flexible and temporary IT staffing manages IT projects for various clients in Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. With 15 years of experience, they can meet individual needs. There is room for growth and learning. Currently, 180 colleagues are on project. A Business Analyst is sought to work for a client. This position can be filled with either a permanent contract or a freelance contract.
What you do
- Responsible for gathering detailed requirements and functional specifications for the development and improvement of IT systems
- Work closely with the Enterprise Business Architect and the Business Relationship & Planning Team to exchange knowledge about Business
- Develop functional specifications, produce deliverables related to assigned projects, and assist with post-implementation support
- Responsible for collecting, compiling, and synthesizing information related to technological processes and systems
- Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes therein
- Develop test cases for users and validate test results during user acceptance tests
- Update process documentation, create reusable and shareable assets
Profile
- Experience in drafting user stories, story maps, and use cases
- Experience in defining functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience in drafting clear acceptance criteria
- Architectural affinity and preferably experience in developing solution directions, system integrations, and architectural concepts
- Able to think end-to-end about the impact of requirements on applications, systems, data
- Technical background and knowledge of technologies such as Mainframe, Java, and/or.NET
- Able to translate technical and functional requirements into feasible IT solutions and coordinate with architects and development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of English and French
- Able to analyze the activities and processes of business partners and identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
- Possess expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as insight into the systems and capabilities of the IT organization
- Good knowledge of the business domains and business functions supported, combined with insight into the IT systems and capabilities of the organization
- Process-oriented and able to structure and optimize complex processes
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to connect business, processes, data
- Experience in mapping processes, systems, dependencies
- Experience or insight into EU legislation is a plus, but not a requirement
- Willingness and availability to travel abroad occasionally
