As a Supervisor, you play a key role in the execution of projects within the value systems of a water authority, such as flood defense, technical system, and wastewater projects (Sewage Treatment Plants). You are often present where it happens: outdoors, at the project location(s). Here you supervise the contractor's work and ensure that projects are carried out according to planning, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
You are the connecting link between the UAV project manager, the representatives of the contractor(s), and any stakeholders. In addition, you monitor the legality and efficiency of the resources used in accordance with the specifications.
What you will do.
- Supervise the execution of projects and check for quality, safety (ARBO), contractual agreements, and laws and regulations.
- Ensure correct and timely project administration, including cost control, contract administration, and progress registration.
- Coordinate activities, wishes, and planning with all involved parties.
- Work closely with project managers and ensure good coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities and maintain contacts with asset managers, municipalities, contractors, and other external parties.
- Act as the recognizable point of contact at the project locations.
- Guide and support new colleagues and actively share your knowledge and experience within the team.
Profile
You will work within the projects department of a water authority, within the contract management team. This team is responsible for both contract preparation and contract realization for the execution of works. Initially, this concerns projects in the field of flood defense, but a significant number of other projects are also in the pipeline.

- Minimum MBO 4 diploma in Road and Hydraulic Engineering.
- Knowledge of constructing concrete structures, structures, earthmoving, etc.
