What you will do. As a Nurse, you support the day center team in the reception and guidance of patients undergoing treatment or intervention. You are involved in the entire care process and are responsible for, among other things:
- The reception and admission of patients
- Preparing patients for their treatment or intervention
- Performing technical nursing procedures
- Observing and monitoring patients during their stay
- Providing information and guidance to patients and their families
- Ensuring a smooth and safe discharge procedure
- Correctly registering nursing data
- Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or HBO5 Nursing diploma
- You are technically strong and feel comfortable in an environment where technical nursing procedures are an important part of the role
- You work accurately, structured
- You are patient-friendly and have strong communication skills
- You can work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience within a day hospital, surgical department, ophthalmology, or pain clinic is a plus
- Good command of Dutch
