As a Veneer Production Operator, you are responsible for operating and monitoring various machines within the production process. You will initially be trained on the jointing line, but will eventually have the opportunity to be deployed polyvalently within the department. You will join a traditional production environment where quality, precision, and craftsmanship are central. To ensure the continuity of production, an additional employee is being trained to become a specialist within the department.
What you will do.
- Operate and set up machines such as jointing machines, veneer shears, and sanding machines.
- Set dimensions, pressure, and parameters according to production specifications.
- Monitor the production process through visual checks and machine monitoring.
- Perform quality controls on finish, dimensions, and aesthetics.
- Report errors, deviations, and technical problems.
- Glue, cut, and process veneer wood according to customer specifications.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a smooth production flow.
- Ensure order, cleanliness, and respectful handling of materials and machines.

- Experience as an operator within a production environment.
- Works independently and takes initiative.
- Accurate, meticulous, and quality-oriented.
- Affinity with fine work and an eye for aesthetic details.
- Stress-resistant and able to work in an environment with production targets.
- Flexible and willing to learn different machines.
- Handles materials and tools with respect.
- Experience with a forklift (a plus).
- Very good command of Dutch (spoken and understood).
- Motivation, eagerness to learn, and a sense of responsibility are more important than prior technical knowledge.
