You will work in one of the development teams within a specific program of a government organization. You will be the tester and work closely with developers and information analysts. You will also seek collaboration with test automation engineers from other teams.
What you will do.
- Expand and professionalize test automation using TestCafé (and in the near future Playwright) for front-end integration and end-to-end testing
- Execute and review functional (manual and automated) tests
- Execute and support chain and user acceptance tests
- Set up, expand, and maintain test automation
- Contribute to the innovation of test automation and implement improvements
- Prepare and document test scenarios and test cases
- Actively propose structural improvements
- Actively contribute to refinements, Three Amigos sessions, and the Community of Practice Test
- Actively share knowledge within and outside your team about test strategies and test automation
- Be a point of contact for colleagues within the team
- Collaborate with developers in the testing process
- If necessary, take on development and/or management tasks
- Represent the team and the testing work to stakeholders
Profile
- HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably in ICT or similar
- Minimum one certificate from ISTQB, TMAP
- Demonstrable experience with standardized test tools, such as TestCafé, Cypress, and/or Playwright
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with automated and manual testing
- Preferably experience with Agile working
- Experience with Java and/or TypeScript, Git, Jenkins, Angular is a plus
- You are enthusiastic, invest in colleagues, bring positive energy, and are proud of your work
- You feel responsible for the quality of your own testing work and actively contribute to the quality of testing and test processes within the organization
