AMO Instructor
As an AMO instructor, you play an important role in a military's first step within a military organization. You guide new military personnel during their General Military Training (AMO) and help them develop from civilian to military. In doing so, you not only transfer knowledge and skills but also work on attitude, discipline, collaboration, and professional conduct. The AMO consists of a mix of practical training weeks, lessons, and military exercises.
As an instructor, you guide students throughout this entire trajectory. You provide lessons based on established learning objectives but adapt the content to the target group and practice. You encourage students to take responsibility, think for themselves, and actively develop. In addition to teaching, you coach and guide students in their growth. You observe their development, provide feedback, and serve as an example in attitude, behavior, and professionalism.
As an instructor, you focus on guiding students and developing your own role as an instructor. You grow under the guidance of a senior instructor and further develop your didactic skills. More important than mastering everything already is having the right military foundation, being able to interact well with the target group, and having the motivation to develop others.
