Enforcement Officer

You are responsible for observing and, if necessary, preventing nuisances related to public cleanliness, safety, and tranquility, as well as parking violations encountered within the organization's territory. Through your actions, you contribute daily to improving the living environment of the organization.

What you do

  • Conduct patrols in public spaces
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in public spaces and remind individuals of current rules to prevent nuisances and offenses
  • Observe infractions of general police regulations and other applicable regulations, allowing for administrative fines to be issued on site
  • Interpellate any person committing an infraction, identify them (without coercion), raise awareness, and/or sanction them
  • Draft and transmit reports
  • Communicate relevant information to hierarchy
  • Develop expertise through continuous training
  • Participate in targeted preventive/repressive actions, possibly in collaboration with partners (Police, cleanliness services, etc.)

Profile

  • Proficiency in French and Dutch (Travaillerpour certificate is an asset)
  • Clear and assertive communication (oral and written)
  • Possession of the 'Sanctions Administratives Communales (SAC) for Enforcement Officer' training certificate is an asset
  • Professional, ethical, and service-oriented behavior
  • Relevant information research with critical thinking
  • Effective collaboration to achieve common goals
  • Precise, meticulous, and quality-oriented work
  • Rapid adaptation to changes, unforeseen events, and various interlocutors
  • Correct application of the legal framework: work regulations, SAC legislation, Highway Code, police regulations, municipal regulations
  • Efficient use of digital tools: LibreOffice, Outlook, intranet, internet, eRH
  • Proficiency in business software: Eforms2, Infodoc
  • Use of professional equipment: GSM, PDA, uniform, badge
  • Drafting structured reports, observations
  • Accurate observation, analysis, and reporting of situations
  • Conflict management through active listening
  • Application of first aid gestures when necessary
  • Certificate of Higher Secondary Education (CESS – level C)

Practical

  • Variable schedule from Monday to Sunday, with shifts extending from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Daily shifts of 7.5 hours
  • Work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) out of two, with rest days on the preceding Friday and following Monday
