Information Security Consultant

As an Information Security Consultant, no two days are the same. You are the expert who helps organizations with their information security and compliance issues. You have the freedom to organize your own schedule and work on diverse assignments such as:

• Performing baseline measurements, internal audits, and guiding or executing external audits;
• Developing and implementing normative frameworks and associated control measures;
• Increasing awareness through training, presentations, and creative solutions such as animations or posters;
• Performing social engineering interventions, including phishing (mail/QR), vishing, smishing, and mystery guest visits, aimed at awareness;
• Supporting clients as ISO, CISO, Risk Officer, compliance officer, and internal auditor;
• Facilitating risk sessions and guiding certification processes.

As an Information Security Consultant, you are not only strong in content but also know how to understand the true needs of your clients. You combine strategic insight with a practical approach. In addition, you bring the following:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a role as an information security officer (or similar). Or you have experience within business services, with an affinity for security and privacy;
• You have experience with ISO 27001 or comparable information security standards and have actively applied them in your work;
• Certifications such as ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISM, CISA, CISSP or similar are a plus;
• You work independently, are curious, strong in communication, and have a pragmatic work style;
• You have C2 level proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken, and good oral and written proficiency in English.
