Information Management Advisor Record Manager

As an information management advisor - record manager at a government organization, you will further build the foundation of an information-driven organization. With your knowledge and vision, you will ensure that information is managed efficiently, securely, in accordance with applicable retention periods, and sustainably.
What you will do.
- Develop and safeguard policies, processes, and frameworks in the field of information management and record management.
- Combine substantive expertise with strong change leadership to involve colleagues in digital development.
- Develop and update policies and procedures regarding archiving and record management.
- Advise on the sustainable preservation and timely destruction of information, in accordance with the Archives Act and municipal selection lists.
- Guide change processes focused on digital working and professionalization.
- Set up and optimize information systems, such as the case management system, CMS, DMS, e-depot, and process applications.
- Ensure that information management is integrally embedded in processes from the start, following the principle of archiving by design.
- Act as a sparring partner for process owners, functional administrators, the privacy officer, legal advisors, and external parties.
- Contribute to the implementation and safeguarding of a quality management system.
- Report to the team leader on achieved results and KPIs in the context of information quality.

- Analytical ability to translate complex laws and regulations into clear advice and workable solutions.
- Moves easily within a dynamic environment, with a flexible and collaborative attitude.

- Completed higher professional education (hbo) in LARM, LRM, record management, Archival Studies B, Information Management, or a comparable education.
- Insight into municipal processes and experience with change trajectories.
- Knowledge of current developments in governance, information management, and quality management.
