Systemic Therapist for Families with Children
Within a specialized group practice, connection is central—between children, parents, school, and the broader context. Guidance is provided to children and adolescents with complex developmental questions and their families, based on the belief in the power of the relational network. The team is looking for a systemic therapist (in training or already graduated) with a passion for families and a strong affinity for themes such as attachment, safety, trauma, and recovery.
What you do
- Guide children, adolescents, and their families in situations where development, connection, or communication are under pressure.
- Support parents in strengthening their parental role, even in complex situations (e.g., autism, ADHD, trauma, divorce, loyalty conflicts, behavioral problems).
- Work from an attachment- and family-oriented framework, applying techniques from ABFT, Circle of Security, NVR, or contextual therapy, among others.
- Work individually with parents/children as well as with the entire family, depending on the specific needs.
- Regularly coordinate with colleagues, schools, general practitioners, child psychiatrists, and other involved parties.
- Participate in team meetings, intervision, and consultation moments.
What they ask
- Master's or bachelor's degree in psychology, orthopedagogy, or a related field.
- Willingness to work as a self-employed professional, either full-time or part-time.
- (Following) a recognized training in systemic therapy.
- Experience or strong affinity with children, adolescents, and their families.
- Belief in strengthening connection and collaboration within systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with relationship- and attachment-oriented work.
- Prepared to work independently, but also seeks alignment and support within a team.
- Recognizes the added value of intervision and consultation and is willing to attend structured consultations with colleagues.
- Available for a long-term collaboration.
- Knowledge of 'core-sensitivities' or willingness to delve into them.
- Knowledge of trauma, developmental disorders (ASD, ADHD), and/or high-conflict divorce is a plus.
Practical
- Work in a warm, multidisciplinary group practice with a shared vision and strong reputation.
- Direct collaboration with fellow psychologists, child psychiatrists, speech therapists, coaches, and therapists within the group practice.
- Flexible working hours (evening or Saturday work is possible).
- Use of furnished practice rooms, waiting area, kitchens, and meeting rooms.
- Support with administration, client registrations, website, and communication.
- Monthly intervision with the team, consultation moments, and room for personal input.
- A practice where you can truly make an impact on children, families, and their future.
