As a Program Manager Strategic Asset Management, you will play a central role in the further professionalization of asset management within an organization with societal impact. You will ensure that asset management develops into an integrated steering instrument that enables the management team to effectively manage performance, risks, costs, sustainability, and compliance.
A Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) has already been established; the challenge now lies in its implementation and sustainable organizational embedding.
What you will do.
- Structure governance and strengthen decision-making.
- Ensure that asset management is supported by clear processes, roles, management information, and an effective PDCA cycle.
- Operate at the intersection of strategy, governance, organizational development, and change management.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy, the Senior Asset Management Advisor, the Management Team, the Delegated Asset Owner (GAO), and various stakeholders.
- Direct the change: bring parties together, monitor progress, and ensure improvements are sustainably embedded.
- Operationalize the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and ensure sustainable organizational embedding.
- Set up and implement the Asset Management Platform (PAM), including governance, consultation structures, and decision-making processes.
- Support the further development of the Delegated Asset Owner (GAO) role and establish effective collaboration agreements.
- Develop and implement a uniform reporting and management review cycle for asset management.
- Set up steering information and dashboards regarding performance, risks, costs, sustainability, and compliance.
- Coordinate improvement measures arising from the ISO 55001 gap analysis and monitor progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Establish and embed a strategic PDCA cycle that aligns with the organization's regular planning and control cycle.
- Connect management, executive board, and content experts to achieve common asset management objectives.
- Report on progress, results, and improvement opportunities to relevant management teams.
Profile
You are an experienced program manager, initiator, or transition manager with a proven track record of successfully realizing complex change projects. You understand how asset management organizations function and know how to translate strategic plans into concrete results. You are strong in connecting people, interests, and organizational units.
You are a director who ensures that processes, governance, and responsibilities are properly set up and embedded, and not a content-driven asset manager who handles operational execution. With your organizational sensitivity and communication skills, you can create support at both executive and operational levels.
