The Social Agenda is an ambitious approach aimed at strengthening broad prosperity in a region. For a government organization, this agenda offers opportunities to work with residents, social organizations, educational institutions, and authorities on important tasks. Four central themes are:
- improving (mental) health
- increasing liveability
- creating opportunities for children, young people, and future generations
- promoting participation in work and reducing poverty
The implementation of the measures has entered a new phase, where ambitions are translated into concrete results for residents.
What you do
You will develop within the social domain and contribute to societal issues that have a direct impact on the region. During the assignment, you will be given the space to take on tasks more independently.
- Supporting policy advisors within the Society & Care department
- Performing executive, organizational, and preparatory tasks
- Supporting policy assignments, projects, and collaboration processes within the Society & Care department
- Contributing to the rollout of the Social Agenda, including activities resulting from regional collaboration
What they ask
- Basic knowledge of municipal decision-making and policy development
- Completed relevant education at a minimum of HBO level, suitable for the social domain, societal issues, and/or public administration
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience with societal issues and/or the social domain and with collaborating with various organizations and stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in collecting and processing information and/or supporting policy-related, project-related, or organizational activities
- Demonstrable affinity with societal challenges in the region and particularly with the objectives and themes of the Social Agenda
