Project Engineer Electricity Pylons

This position is open to both employees and freelancers.
What you do
- Responsible for the study and design of new electricity pylons and modifications to existing structures.
- Performing specialized calculations and preparing and monitoring the study planning, taking into account client requirements and questions.
- Supporting designers in developing calculation models, for both internal staff and external design agencies.
- Participating in the preparation of tender documents and the purchasing process.
- Delivering the produced pylons and structures to the manufacturer or in the test environment.
- Providing technical support for on-site execution and work preparation, in collaboration with project managers, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Monitoring quality management, performing controls, and reporting.
- Optimizing and implementing calculation rules in the software tools used.
What they ask
- Master Engineer (mechanical or civil engineering), architect, or Master of Physics.
- Affinity with technical detailed studies.
- Knowledge and experience in designing steel structures.
- Proficient with engineering software, 3D design, and finite element software.
- Familiar with relevant standards (e.g., Eurocodes).
- Strong sense of responsibility and good organizational talent.
- Ability to function well in a team.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and a solid oral and written knowledge of English.
Nice to have.
- Experience with an expertise and/or engineering activity.
- Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, and Fortran.
