Manager supervision, enforcement and permits
This assignment involves the temporary fulfillment of a management position within a government organization. The role comprises two consecutive periods: first as an interim manager for the Supervision and Enforcement department, followed by a period as an interim manager for the Permits department. What you do
- Daily management of the Supervision and Enforcement department, consisting of teams with building supervisors, enforcement lawyers, and municipal enforcement officers.
- Daily management of the Permits department (environmental permits and events/APV), consisting of teams with lawyers, administration, case managers/permit issuers.
- Both departments are supported by policy officers specifically in the VTH field.
- Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of municipal policy, based on the established multi-year VTH implementation and enforcement strategy and an annual implementation program.
- Close collaboration with colleagues from other departments and external partners.
- Responsible for the execution of tasks included in the annual plan.
- Point of contact for the board, gathering assignments, and providing clear and sharp advice.
- Present choices to management and the board when necessary.
- Maintain overview, clarify priorities, and ensure balance between capacity, planning, and quality.

What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a team manager, team leader, domain manager, or functional manager.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience within the VTH field of a government organization.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience in a political-administrative environment.
- Demonstrable work experience with and knowledge of the substantive themes within Permits, Supervision, and Enforcement.
