Sales Support Supervisor

As Sales Support Supervisor, you are responsible for managing and further developing the Sales Support / Inside Sales team. You ensure that processes run smoothly, results are achieved, and that the sales team / field service can rely on professional and efficient support. You combine operational strength with leadership: you maintain an overview, focus on results, and know how to motivate and develop your team.

Additionally, you structurally elevate the quality level of the department by improving processes, standards, and working methods.

What you do

  • Translate commercial objectives into concrete and measurable team goals
  • Daily management of the Sales Support team and ensuring optimal staffing and task distribution
  • Monitor performance, reports, and analyze results, adjusting where necessary
  • Report on KPIs, progress, and improvement opportunities to management
  • Actively support sales teams by ensuring optimal commercial support and alignment
  • Actively participate within the team and in daily activities (hands-on mentality)
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of offers, pricing, and customer communication
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members
  • Optimize processes and contribute to the further professionalization of the department
  • Work data-driven (e.g., with Excel, PowerBI) and translate insights into concrete actions
  • Collaborate intensively with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Innovation to continuously improve processes and services
  • Ensure correct and complete recording and maintenance of customer data in the CRM system

What they ask

  • HBO education (higher professional education), preferably in a commercial, business administration, or pharmaceutical direction
  • 3–5 years of experience in a commercial inside sales or sales support environment
  • Experience in managing or coordinating a small team (± 5 FTE)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Result-oriented and able to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
  • Coaching leadership style and motivating ability
  • Accurate and quality-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is a plus
