Donor Relationship Officer

Within the Fundraising team of a non-profit organization, you will play a key role in managing relationships with donors. You will contribute to their satisfaction, loyalty, and the sustainable support of the organization's mission through meticulous administrative follow-up and quality service. The organization is committed to finding missing children and combating the sexual exploitation of minors.

What you will do.

  • Manage administrative requests from donors (contact details, direct debits, tax certificates, national register, etc.).
  • Update data in the CRM database.
  • Answer phone calls and ensure professional, clear, and empathetic contact with donors.
  • Send letters and confirmations to donors without an email address.
  • Administrative follow-up of donations from municipalities (thank you notes, subsidies, forms).
  • Manage, update, and import donor data into the CRM system.
  • Monitor the quality of the database and process administrative requests related to donations.
  • Collaborate in drafting and updating procedures and user manuals for the CRM system.
  • Ensure the logistical follow-up of shipments of communication material (brochures, flyers, mailings, letters).
  • Provide general and valuable administrative support to the Fundraising team.

Profile

  • Perfectly bilingual Dutch/French, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in an administrative function, customer service, or donor relationship management.
  • Experience in customer care, client relations, donor service, or a similar administrative function is a significant asset.
  • Organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while respecting priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with a CRM system or a database management tool is a significant added value.
  • Attaches great importance to the quality and accuracy of data and ensures meticulous follow-up of donor information.
  • Excellent written and social skills.
  • Service-oriented, a good listener, and solution-focused.
  • Independent, proactive, versatile, and enjoys working in a team.
  • Handles information discreetly and reliably.
  • Fully identifies with the values and mission of an organization committed to children.
