What you will do.
- Investigate where cost savings are possible within the purchasing portfolio
- Analyze suppliers based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, payment terms, and service levels
- Build sustainable relationships with existing and new suppliers
- Conduct market analyses and compare suppliers to make the best choices
- Monitor purchasing figures and realized savings, and report on them to management
- Actively contribute to improvements within the supply chain and purchasing processes
Profile
- Several years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Analytically strong and enjoys working with numbers
- Entrepreneurial and takes initiative
- Independent and results-oriented
- Easily builds professional relationships with suppliers
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain processes is a plus
