General Director

• Takes on the general leadership of the organization
• Monitors continuity and keeps the strategic course in mind
• Ensures that employees and initiatives receive the necessary support
• Works closely with the director of initiative development and the governing body
• Is responsible for daily operations and further strategic development, within our mission and vision
• Collaborates closely with the governing body, prepares policy decisions, and ensures clear and transparent reporting
• Manages the team, supports employees, and contributes to a connecting, inclusive organizational culture
• Monitors financial management, budgeting, and the financial health of the organization
• Oversees quality internal organization, including HR, ICT, infrastructure, and organizational development
• Represents the organization in the social and policy landscape
• Translates signals from practice into policy recommendations and stimulates politicizing work
• Contributes to subsidy applications, fundraising, and sustainable financing

• Involved in societal challenges and believes in the power of social entrepreneurship
• Able to quickly integrate, set priorities, and make decisions independently
• Relevant leadership experience in the social profit, public sector, or social enterprises
• Experience with strategic policy, organizational development, and change processes
• Knowledge of financial management and HR management
• Insight into governance and collaboration with governing bodies
• Strong communication skills and political-administrative sensitivity
• Experience with subsidy and financing processes
• Good knowledge of the social landscape and its actors
• Affinity with themes such as welfare, care, education, employment
• Excellent command of Dutch and good knowledge of French
