As a Market Abuse & Innovation Supervisor at a financial regulatory body, you contribute to detecting and combating market abuse and to the further development of future supervision. You investigate signals of insider trading and market manipulation, analyze data, and translate your findings into effective interventions. Simultaneously, you take initiative to further develop processes, working methods, and analysis techniques within the team.

In doing so, you know how to convert ideas into concrete projects and results. You work closely with supervisors, data analysts, lawyers, and specialists within the organization.

What you do
- You investigate signals of market abuse, such as market manipulation and insider trading.
- You analyze order, transaction, and other relevant datasets and translate insights into research findings and interventions, ranging from discussions and norm transfer to formal enforcement measures.
- You lead or support projects within the department.
- You identify opportunities to utilize new technologies, data analysis, and AI applications in supervision.
- You bring different disciplines together and ensure that projects are actually implemented.
What they ask
- A completed university degree, for example in economics, business administration, finance, data science, public administration, information management, or a comparable field.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience within the financial sector, consultancy, supervision, or another complex knowledge environment.
- Project-based work: You have experience in leading and/or executing projects and know how to achieve results within set frameworks and deadlines.
- Data-driven: You actively follow developments in digitalization, AI, and data analysis and can interpret their impact on organizations and markets.
- Market and sector insight: You have knowledge of, or a strong interest in, capital markets and issues related to market abuse.
- Results-oriented: You identify opportunities, take initiative, and convert ideas into concrete actions and results.
- Analytical: You are strong in structuring, analyzing, and solving complex issues and can distinguish between main and secondary matters.
- Communicative: You communicate clearly and persuasively in both Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
