As a Digital Quality Consultant, you help food companies make their quality operations smarter and more digital. You digitize quality processes, build dashboards, and identify where AI saves time and reduces errors. You work for multiple clients in the food and animal feed industry, either on-site at the client's location or remotely. You strengthen the digital quality services and combine your knowledge of quality systems in the food industry with a strong digital reflex.
You work independently on concrete projects for clients and can rely on the expertise of a consulting firm that has been involved with quality, food safety, and legislation for years.
What you do
- You digitize and simplify quality processes such as non-conformities, CAPA, complaints, supplier management, internal audits, and document management.
- You translate the needs of a quality department into clear software requirements and assist clients with selection and implementation.
- You set up KPIs and quality dashboards so that clients can use their quality data to make decisions.
- You apply AI to concrete quality questions, such as trend analysis of complaints, classification of deviations, or reviewing documents.
- You advise on the responsible use of digital tools and AI: reliable data, human control, and traceability, in line with the requirements of BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000.
- You provide training to clients on digital ways of working in quality.
- You contribute to proposals and new services related to digital quality.
Profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in food science, bio-engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in quality management within the food or animal feed industry.
- You are familiar with BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000 and understand how quality processes work in practice.
- You have experience in at least one of these areas: digitizing quality processes, implementing quality software, working with quality data and dashboards, or applying AI in quality.
- You use generative AI tools fluently in your work and know their capabilities and limitations.
- You communicate effectively with both a quality manager and an IT department or software vendor.
- You speak and write Dutch and English well. French is a plus.
- You hold a B driver's license.
