This assignment involves replacing a predecessor and is focused on the long term.
- You will contribute to projects within the domain of investment and asset management.
- The activities include testing internal applications and the integration of external software packages with the existing application landscape.
What you do
- As a Manual Tester, you will monitor the quality of new functionalities and changes, in collaboration with analysts, developers, process managers, and business stakeholders.
- You translate business requirements, functional analyses, and end-to-end processes into functional and integration tests.
- You prepare, execute, and follow up on manual test scenarios.
- You test both larger features and smaller user stories.
- You perform proxy tests in the development environment.
- You validate deliveries in integration and simulation environments.
- You test external packages and their integration with existing applications and processes.
- You analyze production problems and contribute to well-founded solutions.
- You ensure a qualitative delivery up to production.
- You collaborate closely with functional analysts, developers, process managers, and the business.
Profile
- We are looking for a tester who understands processes, makes connections, and thinks critically about the quality of the complete solution.
- Extensive experience as a Manual Tester within complex application environments.
- Experience with functional testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with testing external software packages and their integration into an existing IT landscape.
- Experience with Agile working; knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
- The ability to translate functional analyses and business requirements into clear, relevant test scenarios.
- A flexible and pragmatic attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a distinctly team-oriented approach.
- Experience within a financial institution is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
- Experience with applications used within a branch network is also a plus.
