The position is primarily focused on contract management and commercial legal support within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong emphasis on reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and managing complex customer and supplier agreements.
- Responsible for helping to manage legal and compliance risks.
- Ensuring that contractual arrangements align with the organization's commercial objectives and legal requirements.
- Supporting the organization in conducting business in accordance with applicable national and international laws and regulations.
What you do
- Providing legal support to a European entity and its stakeholders, regarding various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g., contract law, corporate law).
- Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues.
- Independently negotiating, drafting, and reviewing agreements and other legal related documents.
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the organization and/or its potential new businesses.
- Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel.
- Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics.
- Providing support to other legal and compliance team members.
What they ask
- A completed Law degree.
- 1-3 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Good understanding of contract law, commercial law, and compliance.
- The ability to independently review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience within the oil and gas, technology and/or engineering industry.
- Living within a maximum driving distance of one hour from the work location.
- The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure.
