All round civil affairs specialist
Within a Neighbourhoods & Services cluster of a municipal organization, the ID&ADRES Complex department is responsible for providing high-quality services to citizens and institutions. This includes identity and personal data management and the organization of elections. With a team of dedicated employees, Civil Affairs is central to citizen contact. The department is divided into four teams: Identity & Address, Civil Registry, Specialists, and Support.
For the Identity & Address team, reinforcement is sought due to long-term illness and peak workloads. This offers the opportunity to apply expertise in a dynamic and important role.
What you will do. As an All-round civil affairs specialist Identity & Address, you are a crucial link in service delivery.
- Processes declarations and applications in the field of address investigations
- Processes declarations and applications in the field of correspondence addresses
- Processes declarations and applications in the field of changes and corrections of personal data
- Conducts home visits
- Carries out property actions (as a 2nd person)
- Provides Midoffice services
Profile
- Works in both front office and back office, with flexible deployment across different locations

- Is good at collaborating and networking, both within the department and with external partners
- Is able to train and guide colleagues in specializations within civil affairs
What they ask
- Demonstrable Bachelor (HBO) working and thinking level
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience within Civil Affairs at a municipal organization, including experience within the Identity & Address field, including complex dossiers
- Demonstrably completed relevant vocational training(s) or relevant modules from the Publieksacademie, suitable for the Civil Affairs – Identity & Address field (specify which training(s) and/or module(s) have been followed)
- Demonstrable experience with BRP-related activities, including at least two of the following components:
- address investigations
- correspondence addresses
- changes and corrections of personal data
- identity and address investigations
- Demonstrable practical experience with:
- conducting home visits in the context of address or identity investigations
- participation in property actions (at least as a 2nd person)
Wishes.
- Demonstrable experience with training, guiding, or coaching colleagues within Civil Affairs or a comparable municipal context
- Demonstrable work experience collaborating with external chain partners, such as the police, housing corporations, RvIG, or other government agencies, in the context of address or identity issues
- Demonstrable work experience gained within a municipality with more than 50,000 inhabitants
