What you will do.

• Provide strategic advice, solicited and unsolicited, on the visualization of information and data, including:
• which visual means for which target groups;
• which information/data to visualize and which not;
• which story is best told visually based on the information and data;
• when which visual medium has the most impact (think of infographics, data visualization, and digital communication tools).
• Translate (policy) documents into accessible visual information for a broad audience, in collaboration with a Junior Graphic Designer.
• Guide and collegially manage a Junior Graphic Designer with a specific employment need in the design process, including:
• discussing the approach to tasks and assignments;
• determining the feasibility of deadlines and managing them;
• reviewing sketches;
• evaluating concepts;
• supporting coordination with policy colleagues;
• professional sparring.
