As a technician, you will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers. Additionally, you will occasionally assist with maintenance work on sorting installations.
What you will do.
- Diagnose issues
- Detect and resolve malfunctions
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and transshipment equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Prepare vehicles for technical inspections
- Occasionally work on sorting installations (e.g., minor welding, bearing installation, small repairs)
- Accurately maintain administrative records of completed work
Profile
- You have a technical background: automotive engineering, electromechanics, or equivalent through experience
- You have basic knowledge of welding and mechanical maintenance
- Working independently is your strength
- Organized with an eye for detail
- Limited administrative work does not deter you (keeping track of activities, consumed materials, work orders, etc.)
- You possess a B driving license; a C(E) driving license is a plus
- You speak and write Dutch fluently
